Transitional Care

The result of prolonged and/or intense substance abuse has a degrading and corrosive effect on the individual’s self worth and on one’s pride in themselves.  Elmhurst Home assists those individuals who are in need of an alternative living arrangement while they seek to become independent, responsible members of society. This program provides a structured, drug and alcohol free environment with scheduled recovery related meetings and activities designed to enhance your social functioning and adjustment.  It is a program where disciplined living and positive interpersonal skills are expected from each resident. In order to assist you in this change process, we have instituted a number of rules, regulations and safeguards.
